Unfortunately, many store-bought sauces are loaded with hidden sugars, preservatives, and fillers that can derail your nutrition goals. That’s why we’ve created five easy, clean, and delicious sauces that are perfect for elevating your meals while keeping them healthy.

Here’s a sneak peek at two of our favourites!

Protein-Packed Pesto

This vibrant pesto is a twist on the classic recipe, incorporating Greek yoghurt for a protein boost. It’s perfect for adding flavour to pasta, sandwiches, or as a dip for veggies.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Store in the fridge for up to a week.

Avocado Lime Dressing

This creamy, zesty dressing is loaded with healthy fats and protein, making it a great addition to salads, tacos, or grilled chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Water as needed to thin

Instructions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding water as needed to reach your preferred consistency. Store in the fridge for up to a week.
